He was born in Istanbul in 1971. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Istanbul. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics in 1995.​

In 1996, he started working as Revenue Controller at the Ministry of Finance and worked as a Stj. He started his career as Revenue Controller. Between 2000 and 2006, he served as Revenue Controller at the Revenue Controllers Istanbul Group Presidency. While serving as Revenue Controller, he conducted numerous tax audits, inspections and investigations throughout the country.

He was appointed as Chief Controller of Revenues in 2006 and in the same year, he served as Group Head (Deputy Chairman of Revenue Controllers) at the Revenue Controllers Department of the Revenue Administration.

Between 2007 and 2009, he served as Group Head in the Audit and Compliance Management Department at the Revenue Administration. During this duty, he took part in many projects and working groups on ensuring coordination between our country's tax audit units and preventing informality. In this context, he has carried out many studies on the establishment of the banderol application used on tobacco and alcoholic beverages in our country and on legislative regulations.

Between 2009 and 2012, he served as the Group Manager responsible for taxation and collection at the Large Taxpayers Tax Office. During this duty, he was responsible at a high level for all taxation-related transactions of taxpayers affiliated with the Large Taxpayers Tax Office.

As of the beginning of 2012, he resigned from the Chief Tax Inspectorate and the Group Manager at the Large Taxpayers Tax Office and founded Demirbilek Sworn Financial Consultancy and Auditing Limited Company.

He has many articles published in various magazines on tax-related subjects.

He is married with three children and speaks English.
